You can help us raise the funds to make a difference to our work with abandoned and abused animals, whilst developing skills for your future.

Job description

ROLE TITLE
RSPCA Shop Assistant (Volunteer)

 

HOURS
Hours are flexible and will be discussed and agreed.

 

LOCATION
We currently have two shops based in Newport Pagnell and Stony Stratford. Click here to find out the addresses.

 

KEY ACTIVITIES

Sorting through donated goods, stocking shelves, pricing and labeling items, steaming clothes, window displays. Dealing with customers and taking money, and generally assisting the shop manager.

More importantly, you will be helping RSPCA Milton Keynes and North Bucks branch make a difference to the lives of local animals who require our help.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS / QUALITIES REQUIRED
You will need to be a supporter of the RSPCA and the welfare work we do, retail experience is beneficial, but we can train suitable volunteers. You will need to be an organised person when sorting, pricing and presenting stock. Volunteers should enjoy meeting people and helping in a retail environment. You will need to be reliable and trustworthy and we would prefer an ongoing commitment.
