Marathon Runners Going the Extra Mile for Animals 🐾

This year, an incredible group of runners are taking on a marathon challenge to support RSPCA Milton Keynes & North Bucks.

Every mile run and every pound raised helps us rescue, rehabilitate and re-home animals across our local community. As an independent branch of the RSPCA, we rely heavily on donations and fundraising to continue providing vital care for animals who have experienced cruelty, neglect or abandonment.

Our runners are already making an amazing impact, and we’re excited to share their fundraising journeys.

A Fundraising Story to Inspire: Chetna

One of our fantastic supporters, Chetna Gorania, is a great example of what’s possible with a little determination and a lot of heart.

Chetna originally set out to raise Ā£200Ā while taking part in the Rocket 5K. But thanks to the support of friends, family and her community, she has now raised over Ā£775 — nearly four times her original target!

šŸ‘‰ You can see Chetna’s fundraising page here:https://www.justgiving.com/page/chetna-gorania-2

Chetna volunteers with the RSPCA every Sunday and sees first-hand the difference donations make to the animals in our care. Her page shares why the cause means so much to her, which has helped inspire people to donate and support her challenge.

Her story shows how powerful it can be when runners share their personal connection to the cause.

Meet Our Marathon Fundraisers

We’re incredibly proud of everyone running to support RSPCA Milton Keynes & North Bucks. Please consider supporting them as they train, fundraise and take on their challenge.

Every donation, no matter the size, helps us continue our work caring for animals in need.

How Your Support Helps

Funds raised by our marathon runners help provide:

🐾 Veterinary treatment for injured and sick animals

🐾 Food, shelter and daily care while animals wait for new homes

🐾 Rehabilitation for animals recovering from neglect or cruelty

🐾 Support for re-homing animals safely into loving families

Because our branch is self-funded, events and challenges like this make a huge difference to the animals who rely on us. Did you know it costs us £250 (approx.) per animal?

Help Them Go the Extra Mile

If you’re able to, please consider supporting one of our runners by visiting their fundraising page and making a donation.

You can also help by sharing their pages with friends and family, every share brings them closer to their fundraising goals.

Together, we can make sure more animals get the second chance they deserve. šŸ•šŸˆ
