Many of you know Debbie as a part-time member of our Animal Welfare team—but what you might not know is that she also voluntarily leads our animal trapping team. This vital role sees Debbie and her team on call day and night, responding to urgent reports of animals in need. It’s not unusual for her to spend long hours—sometimes overnight—patiently waiting for animals to appear, knocking on doors, coordinating with residents, and managing the logistics of often complex rescue efforts. Debbie does an incredible job of bringing together and guiding a passionate group of volunteers, and her dedication behind the scenes is nothing short of inspiring. We’re so lucky to have her!
