Events and Fundraising

It’s been a busy few months filled with fantastic fundraising efforts! 

Our three shops continue to be the main source of fundraising for the charity and showcasing our mission to the local communities in their towns.

In the past three months, we’ve taken part in a variety of events, with two major highlights: the Big Doggie Do at Willen Lake, organised by The Parks Trust, where we raised over £500, and our very own Paws in the Park event in June, which saw an amazing turnout and helped us raise an incredible £3,000 to support the rescue. We’re so grateful to all the dedicated volunteers who gave their time to plan, organise, and support these events—your efforts make all the difference. A heartfelt thank you also goes to our local Labour MP, Chris, for judging the dog show, and to the fire service and PCSO team for their wonderful community support. It was a true celebration of animals, teamwork, and local spirit.

Looking ahead, we’re thrilled to be part of the MK Marathon Weekend in 2026 and have a few charity places available! Whether you’re tackling the 5K, half, or full marathon, we’d love for you to run with us and help raise vital funds for the animals in our care. To join our team, simply complete our ballot form.
