I have always had a passion for animals and was lucky enough to grow up with rabbits, Guinea pigs, cats, horses, and a few waifs and strays that came our way. 
 
I ran my own equine business for over 10 years in Argentina and the USA, doing everything from training and teaching to nursing sick horses and delivering foals, all whilst setting up and running the finance and business side too. At one point we had almost 200 horses within the organisation!  I previously volunteered as an Equine Welfare Officer overseas and I am keen to continue to assist giving animals a much needed voice.

I fell in love with my first dog Mick (a very hands-on Weimaraner) in Argentina and he has been right by my side through every international travel and house move before we finally settled back in the UK. I am a firm believer that all pets deserve a loving, lifetime home and I am thrilled to be a part of the RSPCA to help make a difference.

I am looking forward to combining my skill-set with our other wonderful trustees to further our reach and services to help our most vulnerable animals in need here at the RSPCA.
