Rehoming During Lockdown

Our volunteer Trustee's perform several roles, often more than one! Some are animal coordinators who have been ensuring that animals are cared for throughout Lockdown.

We have animals in foster homes throughout Milton Keynes and the surrounding villages and those animals are cared for by the volunteer fosterers. When Lockdown was imposed, we had to stop allowing the rehoming of animals directly from the homes of volunteers. Instead, our animal coordinators have been completing of all adoptions using the strict social distancing guidelines.

We have rehomed several animals already and are continuing to do so in order to help protect our volunteers.

Thank you to all our fosterers who opted to continue caring for our animals throughout these difficult and scary times. We love your commitment and hard work and appreciate the love and kindness you provide our animals.

Thank you to our animal coordinators for doing the scary bits that allow our charity to continue it's vital work.

We can't do it without you 🐾 #volunteerweek
