Does your cat wear a collar?

Does your cat wear a collar?

Bob used to…until one day he didn’t. By then it was already too late.

We cannot show you the ‘before’ photos. They are quite graphic and incredibly upsetting.

Healing times for wounds in such an awkward place can often take months.

Bob’s was so large an area he had to receive major surgery which included a skin graft.

By using surplus skin from another area of his body our wonderful vets at Milton Keynes Veterinary Group have been able to speed up recovery from months to weeks.

If your cat wears a collar, please ensure it is the quick release type - no collar at all is safest. Please also remember, microchipping becomes compulsory for cats from 10 June 2024. This is the easiest and safest method to ensure your cat can be traced back to you if they go missing.

If you are interested in supporting our Branch and cats like Bob, please consider becoming a monthly donor.

 Your support is greatly appreciated.
