Do you have what it takes to be a guardian? Lila was signed over to the RSPCA when her owners no longer wanted her. She was only 8 months old.
When Lila went to be spayed the Vets found the most likely reason Lila was signed over – she had a growth in her mouth that needed investigating. Luckily, the mass was benign and was a granuloma – it has been removed but may grow back in the future meaning Lila may need additional medical care and/or teeth removed.
Now 10 months old Lila is a quirky and nervy kitten. She is so affectionate but needs quite some time to adapt to her new surroundings. While she does, she may hide when anxious or growl when scared. As her Guardian, you will understand that this is just normal behaviour and let her get on with it!
As a long term foster cat, Lila’s medical care relating to the granuloma will be covered by MK RSPCA. As Guardian, you will be responsible for her board and bedding and other veterinary care.
