Jet is FIV, but what does that mean?

We often find ourselves trying to locate new homes for FIV positive cats like Jet, but what does this mean for a person who wants to adopt?

Read our "Adopting an FIV positive cat guide"

JET

Jet needs an extra special new home. He came in as a stray a couple of weeks ago and sadly wasn't claimed. We've found out today he is FIV positive so he needs an indoor home or a home with a catio attached. He's in good health and will hopefully lead a very long life but we'll discuss the implications of FIV with anyone who's interested in him. He's a sweet lad who's about 4-5 years old and would be best as an only cat and in a house without young children or dogs. If you're interested in him please give us a call on 01908 611179 or fill in our online form. https://www.rspcamiltonkeynes.co.uk/cats
