Today marks the start of RSPCA Week. It’s not only our chance to say thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years, but also to encourage more people to adopt don’t shop! Over the last 10 years you have helped us to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home over 6,300 animals in our area and last year was the busiest year with our re-homing figure hitting over 1,000 animals! This extraordinary amount brought the branch financially to its knees at the close of 2016 and a new plan of action was implemented to help us recover. You have already helped us to raise over £18,000 so far this year so we are hopeful of reaching our £50,000 fundraising target. If you like to help then please consider making a donation, just hit the donate button, under our banner at the top of our Facebook page.

Adopt don’t shop!

June is always busy for us with the intake of baby cats and rabbits being cared for and re-homed. These cuties steal the limelight somewhat and so some of our older animals get overlooked. We’d love it if you could help us spread the word that adopting is better than shopping. Click HERE to share our poster which explains why.
