Milton Keynes Veterinary Group have reported:
"This young female cat was brought in to us this morning following an RTA. She was found by the BP garage in Fenny Stratford. She has no collar or chip. We need to contact her owners urgently. Please call 01908 397777 if you have any information."
"She had a massive head trauma which caused great concern yesterday when she first came in. With lots of medication and intensive nursing she seems to have responded well but it was touch and go. We are keeping our fingers crossed that she will now continue to improve so we can get her back into a home environment as soon as possible".
Posts on Facebook have been shared far and wide, but as yet no owner has come forward.
We were asked the following by one concerned member of the public "Will the kitty get the veterinary care she needs, even if her owners can't be found?"
Absolutely. We have already agreed to fund treatment (as we do for all injured strays). Whenever an injured stray goes into a vet, the vet calls the National RSPCA who fund the initial emergency treatment to the value of £50. The branch is then contacted to fund further treatment if required. This is why we are desperate for donations as if no owner appears the bills soon grow!
