Cat of the Day - Sassy!

Today we meet another cat who wanted to shout out for a new home.

VOLUNTEER: "Good morning, what's your name?"

SASSY: "Happy Thursday everyone, I'm Sassy, your Cat of the Day!! I've been here quite a while you know, I'd be sad but they take such good care of me, I really can't complain. What I'd like more than anything though is a home to call my own. I live with other cats here but I'd prefer a home where you can give me your undivided attention, in return I'll give you head nudges and purrs! Give MK RSPCA a call on 01908 611179 if you want your Thursday to become a whole lot more Sassy!!"

VOLUNTEER: "Awww Sassy I just checked your records and can see that you have been in our accommodation since February. That is a long wait. It also says in your notes that when people visit you get a little bit skittish. Why?"

SASSY: "My world was turned upside down. I found it very stressful and i'm at the moment i am a bit shy. It takes me a long time to get to know someone but when i do i fall deeply in love."

VOLUNTEER: "Sassy you are gorgeous. You have lovely long fur which is a gorgeous black colour with streaks of deep chocolate colour and I can see a row of amazing teeth which you kindly displayed for us. Don't you think that might have put people off you?"

SASSY: "I'm really proud of my teeth! Look at them - it's my way of smiling so please don't be put off. Here is another pic of me with it closed".

VOLUNTEER: "Thanks Sassy. You deserve a lovely new quiet home and we hope you'll find a new family very soon."

Sassy is about six years old.

All our adult cats are neutered, microchipped and treated for fleas and worms. They will also have had (at least) their first vaccinations and you can opt for four weeks free insurance available from Petplan. We ask for a minimum donation of £60 for each cat to help cover our costs. Please note that a home visit may be required.

If you would like any more information about any of these cats, or feel you'd like to offer one or maybe two of them a home, then please call us on 01908 611179.

*Please note that at times we are very busy caring for the animals in our care and so we are unable to take your call. Please leave your details and a message and we will call you back as soon as we can. We appreciate your patience.*
